Rauth Roofing Limited: Perfection Award

Perfection Award

Rauth Roofing Limited is proud to announce that we have received our second straight Perfection Award, which makes us the only Canadian approved applicator to be appointed to the Perfection Council for the second year in a row.
Carlisle maintains detailed records of every Authorized Applicators' warranty claims history. Each year, the Perfection Award will recognize those roofers whose exceptional installation quality results in a warranty claim performance that ranks in the top 5% of all US and Canadian applicators. Of those applicators, a small number of Perfection Award winners will be selected to the Perfection Council each year. Perfection Council members are not chosen on the basis of sales volume; rather, applicators of all sizes will be considered to represent their Perfection Award peers based on their history of high performance on Carlisle installations. These applicators will serve as an advisory board throughout the year to determine how Carlisle can best support its contractor network and enhance its reputation for the highest quality roofing systems.

We are very proud of this accomplishment, and grateful for our continued partnership with Carlisle Syntec.

Rauth Roofing Limited: The TPO Advantage

The TPO Advantage

Rauth Roofing Limited works with a number of different single ply, flat roofing systems; one popular option is the TPO system.

BENEFITS OF TPO ROOF SYSTEMS

Carlisle SynTec Systems has been the leader in the commercial, single ply roofing industry for 50 years. Carlisle products have been installed worldwide, and at Rauth Roofing Limited, are our largest supplier of single ply systems. Each roofing system has their own benefits, below is some information from Carlisle, that we at Rauth feel attribute to the TPO system:

Economical

One of the largest factors that makes TPO roofing attractive both in residential and commercial construction is its reasonable cost. TPO offers many of the same benefits as PVC roofing, such as hot-air weldable seams and energy efficiency, but at a lower cost.

Durable

In comparison to other thermoplastic membranes, TPO resists the accumulation of dirt, mold, tears and punctures. It is made to be flexible and can allow for a home or building’s movement or settling. Reinforced TPO membranes can handle a building’s thermal expansion and contraction more effectively than other single ply roofing products which is important for employers who have locations in areas with a fluctuating climate, like South Western Ontario

Ease of installation

In general TPO membranes are manufactured with wider sheets and are light weight. This means that the material is easier to install and there is less seams. Less work and time associated with the installation translates into direct savings for the business owner for the cost of installation.

Energy Efficient

The energy efficiency of TPO roofing membranes makes them highly attractive to business owners who want to have the benefits of savings on their cooling costs as well as help the environment by reducing the carbon footprint. TPO’s membrane’s white reflective surface exceeds the EPA’s ENERGY STAR requirements and white, tan and gray are listed with the Cool Roof Rating Council. This means that having a TPO roof on your home or building will keep the interior thermally comfortable on hot summer days while reducing your air conditioning costs.

Carlisle offers various types of TPO membranes in multiple thicknesses and as an approved and ESP award winner, Rauth Roofing Limited should be your choice when installing your next TPO roofing system.

The Carlisle Stormwater Retention System

Carlisle SynTec, with more than four decades of experience and nine billion square feet of roofing membrane sold, is considered the industry's premier resource for single-ply roofing systems. Carlisle SynTec ranks highest in independent studies as surveys in such key areas as product quality, innovation and roofing system technology. Rauth Roofing Limited is a proud recipient of the Carlisle Excellence in Singly Ply award, which recognizes Carlisle’s most loyal and dedicated authorized applicators. The ESP award is one of the most prestigious and recognizable awards in the flat roofing industry, and we are fortunate for the partnership we share with Carlisle SynTec Systems.

As a constant innovator in the flat roofing industry, Carlisle SynTec's strong commitment to research and development has resulted in product line extensions and recent innovations in the company's core EPDM or rubber membrane product line, such as the Stormwater Retention Roof system. Stormwater management is a growing concern among building owners, especially in urban environments where many stormwater and sewer systems are outdated and unable to handle heavy rain falls. A Ballasted Stormwater Retention roof system from Carlisle can retain up to 67% of the water from a 24-hour rain event, offering building owners and developers an economical alternative to costly stormwater collection basins and associated land requirements. During a heavy, one-inch rainfall, over 6,200 gallons of water would fall onto a 10,000 ft2 roof. Carlisle’s Ballasted Stormwater Retention System using two layers of moisture retention mat could retain up to 67%, or 4,177 gallons. This provides serious relief to local stormwater and sewer systems, while only adding a little over 3 lbs of weight per square foot of roof area.

The Benefits

  • Easy to install

  • Retain as much as 67% of the water from a 24-hour rain event

  • Cost effective

  • Environmentally friendly

  • Ballast can be reused in reroofing applications

  • EPDM membrane is 100% recyclable

  • Can contribute toward five possible LEED® credits
